1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

• Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), service topic, and message. We may pre-select the service topic from the page or link you used; you can change it before submitting. For phone country code, we use your browser locale when available, or a one-time lookup via ipapi.co (your IP is sent only for that request).
• Direct messages: information you send by email, WhatsApp, or similar channels.
• Website usage: pages visited, referral source, and technical data (such as browser type) via Google Analytics 4.
• Theme preference: light or dark mode stored in your browser (localStorage only; not sent to our servers).

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

3. How we use and share it

We use your information to:

• Respond to enquiries and prepare quotes or proposals
• Deliver and manage services under a contract with you
• Improve our website and understand how visitors use it
• Meet legal obligations and protect our business where necessary

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and handle enquiries:

• Formspree — processes contact form submissions when configured
• Google Analytics 4 — website analytics (G-DSKPYF4YB1)
• Cloudflare — hosts and delivers the website
• Google Fonts — web fonts (may involve your IP address)
• ipapi.co — optional country lookup for the contact form phone field

Each provider has its own privacy policy and processes data under their terms.

4. Retention and security

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is needed for an active contract or legal requirement. Analytics retention follows settings in our Google Analytics account.

We use HTTPS and reasonable safeguards for data we control. No online transmission is completely secure.

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, or object to certain processing. Email info@kometcode.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

To limit analytics tracking, use your browser’s privacy settings or a Google Analytics opt-out extension. We do not use a cookie consent banner on this site.
